HSWC is 100% funded by donations, grants and fees for services. We receive no government funding. We count on community support to continue our life-saving programs. As a no-kill shelter, we spend approximately $200 per animal to prepare them for adoption. This includes daily care during their stay at our shelter, vaccinations, tests, microchip and spay/neuter surgery. No gift is too small to help us continue our life-saving efforts.
Please consider a monetary donation to help us continue our important work! Monetary donations can be made via PayPal, with a credit card by calling (512) 260-3602 x103, or by mailing your check payable to: The Humane Society of Williamson County, 10930 E. Crystal Falls Parkway, Leander TX 78641.
Remember, your donation is tax deductible!
Donation ProgramsIf you'd like to do even more, we also offer a variety of special ways for you to support the animals at the HSWC. For more information about any of these programs, you can call the office at (512) 260-3602 or email info@hswc.net. |

| Abby Angel Fund Contributions | HSWC has established the Abby Angel Fund in the memory of our beloved resident dog, Abby, who passed away in 2005. This fund is reserved for animals arriving at the shelter in need of veterinary attention, for which no budgeted funds are available. If you’d like to contribute to the Abby Angel Fund, please note Abby Angel Fund on your donation. We appreciate your support for this vital program! |
| Appreciated Assets | A very attractive means of supporting the HSWC, while reducing your federal income tax liability, is by donating appreciated assets (such as art, securities, property, etc.). Under current IRS regulations, the donor is allowed to claim the appreciated value of such a gift to a 501 (C)(3) organization and bypass any capital gains on the asset. Please contact the HSWC Treasurer for further information. |
| Estate Planning | Call us regarding Estate Planning so your generous gift can continue helping the homeless animals after you are gone. |
| Affiliate Sales | If you want to support the HSWC without donating directly, you can help by shopping online at major online stores through our affiliate links. For every purchase you make through our links, the HSWC will receive a small commission. It doesn't cost you anything! |
