Owner Surrender

Owner surrendered intake is done by appointment. Appointments and intake will be based on space available. All animals accepted into our adoption program must pass adoptable and treatable criteria as defined by HSWC.

All stray animals will be referred to the municipal shelter so citizens have one place to look for a lost animal.

If you need to surrender your animal, please call (512) 260-3602 or email animalcare@hswc.net for more information about requirements and to make an appointment.

The fee for owner surrender is $95.
