How could you say “no” to those faces?! The Humane Society of Williamson County needs people who are willing to provide temporary foster homes for dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies. Fostering an animal is one of the most rewarding things a volunteer can do and it can be life saving for many of our furry friends. It is a great way to learn more about animals and provide a displaced animal a home when they need it most.
Foster families are responsible for overseeing veterinary visits, grooming, basic obedience training and socialization to a family environment. If you chose to take part in the foster-to-adopt program, you will also introduce prospective new owners to the animal and make recommendations for permanent placement.
If you are interested in fostering please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at mcardenas@hswc.net for more information about our foster program.
